The Erika rows the archives cannot decide
Where this came from. On the Following overview, the two-ledger table — the one that separates the Charlie Kirk and Turning Point claims from the Erika Kirk claims and scores each against recovered position data — has a right-hand column headed "Archives cannot answer." On the Erika Kirk line that cell reads "39 (+1 names no aircraft)" and links here. This page is that cell, opened. It holds 41 rows, not 40, and the difference is explained below rather than papered over.
The rest of the Erika line reads: 56 claimed, 12 corroborated, 3 refuted. Twelve plus three plus these forty-one is fifty-six, which is the whole ledger. Twelve plus three plus forty is fifty-five, which is one short — so the count on this page is the one that reconciles.
What this slice is
A row is in this list when the compilers' sheet claims Erika Kirk, the row carries a date, and the recovered position data decides nothing about it. Four verdicts land in that bucket, and three of the four are limits of the archive rather than statements about the aircraft:
- Not heard — 29 rows. The free volunteer archives cover that date and served other airframes on it, but hold no trace at all for this one.
- No archive coverage — 10 rows. No free archive reaches that date for any airframe probed, including the control aircraft with no connection to this case.
- No aircraft named — 1 row. The claim names no tail number, so there is no airframe to look up.
- Right area, wrong field — 1 row. The airframe was tracked and its closest recovered position is 28 km from the named airport — inside the sheet's own stated tolerance, outside a same-airport test.
Reproduce the list from overlaps.csv by taking every dated row whose Erika Present column reads
claimed and whose Charlie Present column reads not_claimed, then keeping those whose ADS-B
verdict is neither AT_CLAIMED_AIRPORT nor ELSEWHERE. Two exclusions are built into the ledger
itself and both matter. The nine rows claiming both Kirks are scored on
the Charlie and TPUSA ledger instead, because
Charlie is the half of those rows that is documented. The five undated rows are excluded because
an undated claim cannot be put to an archive at all; they sit in
the five never-published rows. Sixty-one Erika-alone rows
minus those five undated rows is the 56 this ledger scores.
Where the 41 and the 40 diverge. The overview cell counts the 29 Not heard plus the 10 No
archive coverage as its "39", then adds the 1 row naming no aircraft in brackets. The Right area,
wrong field row — OWENS-012, SU-BTT at Wichita on 14 April 2023, closest recovered position
27.58 km from KICT — is undecided by exactly the same standard but is not in the overview's
bracketed arithmetic. Both figures are printed here. The register's own total of 56 says 41 is the
right one for this bucket.

What the specifics show
This is the biggest single bucket in the Erika ledger — 41 of 56 rows, close to three in four — and it is the bucket where the evidence runs out rather than the bucket where it points anywhere. Nothing on this page is a finding about the aircraft. It is a record of what was asked and what came back empty, kept separate from what was never asked at all, because those two are not the same thing and merging them would be the easiest way to mislead a reader on this whole subject.
The 2022 rows fail for one reason and it is a calendar reason, not an aircraft reason. Eight of
the nine 2022 rows come back No archive coverage, and so do the two earliest 2023 rows,
OWENS-045 (12 January 2023) and OWENS-008 (15 January 2023). That is the full No-archive-coverage
block: OWENS-001, OWENS-002, OWENS-004, OWENS-005, OWENS-043, OWENS-044, OWENS-006,
OWENS-007, OWENS-045, OWENS-008 — ten claim dates spanning 5 October 2022 to 15 January 2023.
The span is not quite unbroken: one row inside it, OWENS-003 at Boston on 1 November 2022,
comes back Not heard rather than No archive coverage, so it is the single 2022 row in the Not
heard block below. For the other ten, no free archive reaches back that far for any airframe,
control aircraft included. That is the archive's retention boundary showing up at the front of the
register, and it must not be read as anything having been removed.
From 2023 onward the failure mode changes to Not heard, and that is a different limitation. Twenty-nine rows — one in 2022, eight in 2023, all thirteen 2024 rows and seven of the eight 2025 rows — sit on dates the volunteer archives do cover, serving other aircraft, while holding no trace for the named airframe. Parked with the transponder switched off, sitting outside receiver coverage, and a wrong claimed date all look identical from outside. None of the three can be separated from the other two with the data on this page.
Wichita is the densest field in this slice and it is also the one with the clearest ordinary
explanation. Ten of the 41 rows name KICT, spread across all four years — OWENS-004,
OWENS-045, OWENS-012, OWENS-051, OWENS-022, OWENS-054, OWENS-059, OWENS-031,
OWENS-061 and OWENS-032 — and the overview records Wichita as the home of Yingling Aviation, an
FAA Part 145 Dassault Falcon service centre. Thirty-two of these 41 rows name SU-BTT, which is a
Falcon 7X. A Falcon repeatedly visiting a Falcon service centre is the explanation that has to be
disposed of first, and nothing in this slice disposes of it.
Four rows fall on a day this site can independently source a Kirk or TPUSA appearance, and all four
put the aircraft in a different state from the one documented person. OWENS-002: jet claimed at
Chicago, Charlie Kirk sourced at Florida State in Tallahassee. OWENS-048: Wilmington against Texas
Christian in Fort Worth. OWENS-022: Wichita against San Diego State. EXTRA-004: Omaha against the
Student Action Summit in Tampa. On none of the four is the aircraft in the same state as the sourced
appearance, and on none of them is Erika Kirk sourced anywhere at all.
The people column is thinner here than in any other cut of this register. Across the 41 rows the sheet's Erika Location cell holds a single bare US state 34 times — Kansas 8, Nebraska 8, Utah 5, Delaware 4, Missouri 4, Illinois 2, and one each for California, Massachusetts and New York — names two places at once 4 times, and reads UNKNOWN 3 times. Not one of the 41 rows names a city, a venue or an address on her side. Ground-position confirmations across the whole slice: zero.
Two rows in this bucket are the same claim entered twice, and the register says so. OWENS-037
and OWENS-066 both put SU-BND departing Provo on 7 July 2025; the register's note on
OWENS-066 records it as a duplicate of OWENS-037, and the note on OWENS-037 records the
aircraft as parked while the sheet has it flying home. OWENS-031 and OWENS-061 are the other
same-date pair, both at Wichita on 12 January 2025. Duplicated rows inflate a headline count without
adding a single new date, which is why the distinct-date figure of 39 is printed beside the row
count of 41 rather than behind it.
The audit and the archives are not measuring the same thing here, and it shows. The tracking-site
audit reached a verdict on 38 of these 41 rows and called 34 of them inaccurate, working against
paid flight-history archives that reach further back than any free one. It called four accurate —
OWENS-004, OWENS-006 and OWENS-007, all three of which are in the free archives' 2022 blind
spot, plus OWENS-012, the 28-km Wichita row. It marked two more not assessable for its own archive
gap, and never reached EXTRA-004. Where the audit reached a verdict and the free archives could
not, the audit's answer is the only one on the row — and it is an answer about the aircraft, never
about a passenger.
What this list cannot tell you
- Nothing on this page is evidence that anything was deleted. Not heard and No archive coverage are limits of free volunteer archives. The 10 No-archive-coverage rows failed for control aircraft with no connection to this case on the same dates and the same endpoint, which is what identifies them as a retention boundary rather than a removal. Neither verdict is suppression, and neither is evidence that the aircraft was somewhere else.
- An absence is not a finding. A volunteer network hearing nothing means a volunteer network heard nothing. Transponder off, out of receiver coverage, and a wrong claimed date are all live possibilities on every one of the 29 Not heard rows.
- A trace locates an aircraft. It never places a person aboard. That limit binds hardest here, because on this page there is not even a trace — so no row on it can carry any weight at all about who was or was not travelling.
- Erika Kirk's presence is established on zero of these 41 rows, and on zero rows anywhere in the register. Her flight logs are reported erased and no dated itinerary for her has been published by the compilers, by Turning Point USA, or by anyone else. Every row here rests on a spreadsheet cell naming a state.
- An undecided row is not a half-corroborated row. Nothing on this page should be added to the 12 corroborations to make a larger supporting number. These 41 belong on neither side of the ledger, which is the whole reason the ledger has a third column.
- No crime is asserted against anyone. The sheet is the compilers'; the audit verdicts are the auditor's; the ADS-B verdicts are this investigation's, measured off raw traces. The ordinary explanations the register carries — Yingling Aviation's Falcon service centre at Wichita, Duncan Aviation's Egyptian Air Force maintenance account at Lincoln and Provo, transatlantic customs and fuel stops at Wilmington — are printed on the rows themselves.
