Trajectory & Wound Mismatch
Even if Tyler Robinson were on the Losee Center rooftop with a .30-06, citizen analysts argue the geometry and wound morphology do not fit a distant high-power rifle kill. Without a public autopsy, these are interpretations of video, witness quotes, and physics — not ME findings. Robinson is charged, not convicted. The mismatch is one of the main reasons the majority of citizen investigators now hold that Charlie Kirk was killed by a device at chest and neck level rather than by a round fired from 120 metres away.
Rooftop angle vs entry site
CK_FILE and @_DaniFesto compile:
- Shooter position ~120 m east, downward angle roughly 5–9 degrees
- That trajectory would likely strike face or jaw first
- Reported entry instead between larynx and trachea, left of cervical spine — more straight-on to the neck than a shallow downward rifle path from the east
If the neck wound were an exit from an internal device or close shot, rooftop Tyler becomes physically unnecessary — a core Proof Not Tyler argument.
Energy and visible damage
Gun & Bullet notes .30-06 carries roughly 8× the muzzle energy of 9mm. Analysts expect:
- Catastrophic tissue destruction at rifle distances
- Prominent exit wound and heavy blood on white stage/tarp
Conflicting public claims include:
- Treating doctor quote: bullet "did not exit" — called an "absolute miracle" (CK notes)
- Candace Owens: no pooling near heart; blood sideways; shirt clean vs pre-scripted medic descriptions
- Witness Nick trajectory descriptions vs rooftop line
Shirt timing on video
Mic video analysis alleges shirt fabric movement before visible neck blood — argued as inconsistent with external rifle strike timing. Treat as frame-analysis claim pending raw footage release.
Alternative calibers fit better (hypothesis)
ProjectConstitu / Dr. Chris Martenson threads argue 9mm +P-class cavitation explains necklace snap and pugilist pose without launching the body as .30-06 would. Alternative Kill Mechanisms routes tent and mic hypotheses.
Disclosure that would settle it
- Public autopsy with trajectory rods
- High-resolution wound photography
- Official ME entry/exit determination
Until then, trajectory mismatch remains a strong citizen-investigator pillar for doubting the rooftop .30-06 kill story.
Citizen Investigator Claims on X
(Challenges to the lone-rooftop /.30-06 attribution — Robinson is charged and presumed innocent until proven guilty.)
- July 2026 preliminary-hearing coverage on X was split: some accounts called the state’s DNA/video package “ironclad”; others (and defense reporting) stressed ATF inconclusive ballistics, DNA-method challenges, and “little mysteries” on scene gaps.
- Long-running citizen threads still highlight acoustic two-event claims, backpack/rifle concealment doubts, stairs-guy clothing mismatch, Miranda vs Discord timing, and GSR/physical-test gaps — see sibling pages under Proof Not Tyler.
- Page focus: Trajectory & Wound Mismatch. Competing official and citizen narratives both deserve documentation; neither substitutes for a completed trial record.
