Pre-Shot Signal Claims

:::caution Speculative coordination claims Nothing on this page establishes that any living person coordinated a multi-shooter or timed device attack. Bright-object / signal claims come from citizen readings of compressed video. They are open questions, not proven command-and-control evidence. :::

Once Candace Owens–linked Losee Center roof footage circulated widely in July 2026, a second layer of commentary appeared on top of the crawl and clothing debates: that the prone figure flashed a bright object — phone, optic, mirror, or light — just before the public shot time. Amplify posts framed it as a signal to other actors: stage team, second shooter, or device trigger.

What Circulating Posts Claim

A high-amplification example (@DiligentDenizen quoting Candace Owens footage):

"The alleged shooter does a MILITARY crawl into position & appears to SIGNAL w a BRIGHT object just before taking the shot… WHO was the shooter SIGNALING?!"

Related threads say the figure never took a shot, only flashed a signal, then fled — a variant of the decoy theory (@RS17Pg: "Never took a shot. Flashed a signal.").

Older commentary used "go signal" language without the same bright-object still: for example, claims that a roof .30-06 was decoy noise that signaled a quieter shot from another building, or that a patsy on the roof waited for a cue before believing he had fired a kill shot.

Why Signal Claims Matter (If True)

A deliberate light or optic flash at T-minus seconds would imply:

  • Coordination with at least one other party who could see the roof or a relay.
  • That the roof figure's role might be timing / distraction, not sole lethal actor.
  • That "lone wolf with a hunting rifle" is incomplete even if the roof person is correctly identified.

That is why the claim is popular in intel-service and multi-actor narratives. It is also why it needs frame-level proof rather than a single amplify caption.

Ordinary Explanations

Before treating a glint as a command signal, ordinary sources of a bright frame must be listed:

  • Scope or phone screen catching sun.
  • Compression artifact or sensor bloom on a dark jacket.
  • Reflection off gravel, vent metal, or railing.
  • Accidental phone check with no tactical meaning.
  • Mis-synced highlight from a different second of the clip.

None of these require a conspiracy. Distinguishing them from a deliberate flash needs the original file, not a re-encoded social clip.

Open Questions

  1. Can any original camera file show a bright object with stable screen coordinates across consecutive frames?
  2. What is the timestamp of the alleged flash relative to 12:23:30 impact?
  3. Is the bright pixel on the figure's hand, on the gravel, or on a building edge?
  4. Do any other cameras (courtyard, tent, Woodbury) show a corresponding visual or radio cue?
