Video: What Was Pressed Under the Shirt?

This page hosts one short video from the tent at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, in the seconds after Charlie Kirk was hit. Members of the security detail are crowding the table. One man, in a blue shirt with a tattooed forearm, reaches to the waist of a man in a black shirt, and his hand appears to press something under that man's shirt.

What We Don't Know​

We don't know what got pressed under the shirt. Possibly it was a mic. Possibly it was a walkie-talkie. Possibly it was neither.

We don't know what the press did. It may have been turning something off. It may have been something else entirely — steadying a radio, adjusting a belt, grabbing a man to move him.

We just don't know. The clip is eight seconds long, shot from behind, with no clear view of the object, and there is no audio beyond a single "Oh." No one in it has explained the moment publicly, and this site has found no record that says what was there.

The X Post​

The clip was posted by @DAndersonMusic1 on January 10, 2026 (about 40,000 views). The post's short caption names the two men and states as fact what the hand did. This site does not adopt that caption. The wording on this page — that we do not know what was pressed or why — is the site's position and overrides the post's framing.

Why It Is Worth Watching​

Investigators on X have concluded that Charlie Kirk was killed by an explosive device at the podium, most often described as the lavalier mic under his shirt. That makes every piece of body-worn electronics at the table in those first seconds — mics, transmitters, radios — something readers want to see accounted for. Readers who have studied the table jumpers and frame-by-frame video of the moment will recognize the same crowding here.

What the clip does not show is any device, any detonation control, or any knowledge of anything. Nothing indicates anyone on the security or AV team knew of any device, placed it, or triggered it. A security man touching a colleague's radio in a crisis is ordinary; the only reason to note this one is that we cannot yet say what it was.

The People in the Frame​

The post identifies the two men by first name. This site has pages on Brian Harpole, founder of Integrity Security Solutions, and Dan Flood, described in posts as Kirk's head of security. Both are living people. Neither has been charged with anything, and nothing on this page is a claim that either did anything wrong. Harpole has sued Candace Owens over claims about his team and denies them (Brian Harpole v. Candace Owens). This site has found no public comment from either man about this clip.

Open Questions​

  1. What object was under the black-shirted man's shirt at the moment of the press — a radio, a mic transmitter, or something else?
  2. Was anything switched off, and if so, is there a radio log or recording that shows when channels went quiet?
  3. Is there a higher-resolution or front-angle recording of the same seconds at the tent?
