The Egyptian Jet SU-BTT (Claims)

:::caution Attributed claims only Flying an aircraft is lawful. Foreign government and military aircraft transit US airports every day under long-standing agreements, and no person aboard any aircraft discussed here has been charged with or found responsible for anything relating to Charlie Kirk's death. As set out below, the timing at the centre of this claim cuts against it — the aircraft left hours before the shooting. These are reported claims, not findings. :::

What is alleged

SU-BTT is an Egyptian-registered Falcon 7X that Candace Owens reportedly called "the yellow plane." Per the investigation's notes, it flew Paris → Minot, ND → Provo on September 4, 2025, sat at Provo through the week, departed for Wilmington, DE at 07:08 MT on September 10 — roughly five hours before the shooting — and left the US for Cairo on September 11. Trackers claim its first-ever US trip was July 20, 2025, to an army base in Nebraska, and that every other US leg went to military airfields, which they argue makes Provo the anomaly.

Layered on top are a series of assertions from unnamed sources: that four to six "contractors" boarded with "U.S. Department of Defense Liaison" badges; that the flight received "no-scan priority clearance" via federal override at Provo, bypassing screening with no passenger manifest recorded; that the crew tested counter-UAS (anti-drone) gear at Provo Airport September 4-10; and that the contractors did not depart with the aircraft. A separate claim holds that the September 10 departure actually originated from Dugway Proving Ground with the transponder off, and that trackers mislabeled it as Provo — the nearest public field — when the aircraft "materialized" mid-air.

The notes are explicit that this material is unverified. The originating poster's own preface: "these are UNCONFIRMED accounts from witnesses that i have yet not cooperated."

The ordinary explanation

Start with the timing, because it is fatal to the claim. SU-BTT departed at 07:08 MT. Charlie Kirk was shot at approximately 12:23 MT. A jet that left five hours before the event is, if anything, exculpatory — it places the aircraft and everyone aboard it hundreds of miles away when the shooting happened. The investigation's own notes concede the point in a single line: "This plane left BEFORE the assassination." The claim's most-cited fact is evidence against the claim.

The rest has ordinary answers. Egypt is a major US security partner with a long-running foreign military sales and training relationship; Egyptian VIP and air force aircraft transiting US bases and routing via Paris is routine, not remarkable. Provo has established business-aviation MRO capacity — a maintenance stop or crew rest there is unremarkable, and a week on the ramp is what maintenance looks like.

The Dugway theory is weaker still. Transponder gaps and aircraft "materializing" mid-air over the Great Basin are a known artifact of ADS-B receiver coverage, which is sparse over that terrain, not proof of a secret military launch. Consumer trackers routinely mislabel an origin as the nearest public field for exactly this reason — a fact the Dugway posters themselves rely on, then reinterpret as stealth. And the "contractors," the DoD liaison badges, the no-scan clearance, and the counter-UAS testing are anonymous and undocumented, sourced to unnamed people at an FBO and a tower, with no manifest, badge, log, or record produced for any of them.

What would settle it

  1. Obtain the FAA and Provo tower records for SU-BTT's September 4 arrival and September 10 departure — was there a clearance override, and what does the log actually say?
  2. Obtain the CBP arrival manifest for the aircraft, which would settle both who was aboard and how many people departed with it.
  3. Pull the ADS-B raw receiver data for the September 10 departure and determine whether the "materializing" gap matches known coverage holes over the Great Basin.
  4. Ask Duncan Aviation directly whether SU-BTT was on the ramp for maintenance, and produce the work order.
  5. Given the 07:08 MT departure, state what mechanism could connect this aircraft to a 12:23 MT shooting at all.
