Clock Tower X FARA Filing and VFX LA (Claims)

:::caution Attributed claims only The investigation file opens this section with the words "Can we confirm if this happened?" — and that is the honest status. Brad Parscale, Marcus Wada, Erika Kirk and Andrew Kolvet are living people accused of nothing here. Filing under FARA is an act of legal disclosure, and political consultancies lawfully hold foreign-government accounts as a matter of routine. Nothing below is a finding of wrongdoing by any person or organization. :::

What is alleged

First thread. Investigators note that the FARA registration for Brad Parscale's Clock Tower X LLC was filed on September 18, 2025 — eight days after Charlie Kirk's death. The registration reportedly covered Israeli government work including messaging integration into Salem Media properties, where Salem's existing TPUSA/Kirk show partnership already existed. The suggested inference is proximity: a foreign-government messaging contract touching the same media infrastructure Kirk broadcast through, registered within days of his killing.

Second thread. Candace Owens has named VFX LA (VFX Los Angeles), which she describes as a Hollywood deepfake and voice-cloning firm specializing in synthetic voice reproduction and hyper-realistic lip-sync video. She says TPUSA's Marcus Wada was reportedly meeting and communicating with them right after the assassination, and possibly before. Owens asks why a conservative student organization would need Hollywood-grade synthetic-media capability. She connects it to a separate reported dispute: donors present at the Aspen Summit reportedly say Kirk never made the formal statement appointing Erika Kirk CEO in the event of his death. Owens also reports that Andrew Kolvet has acknowledged that TPUSA met with deepfake creators who offered to make videos of Charlie, and that TPUSA declined.

That last detail is the one worth holding onto, because it comes from the thread's own material and it points the other way.

The ordinary explanation

On the FARA timing. FARA registrations are filed when representation begins and are subject to a statutory filing window, so a September 18 date is far more likely to reflect ordinary paperwork lag on a contract negotiated weeks or months earlier than a response to an event eight days prior. The inference runs backwards in a second, more important way: registering under FARA is the act of disclosure. It is the legal opposite of a covert influence operation — a genuinely clandestine effort is defined by the absence of exactly this filing. Political consultancies routinely hold foreign-government accounts; that is not a scandal, that is the industry, and the statute exists to make it visible. The claim treats a public compliance document as evidence of secrecy.

On VFX LA. Kolvet's reported account, as relayed within the claim itself, is that TPUSA was approached by, and declined, deepfake vendors. An inbound pitch after a founder's death is exactly what one would expect from an opportunistic industry, and declining it is the innocent outcome. The claim's own best evidence is a report of the organization saying no. Beyond that, media organizations engage visual-effects houses constantly for tribute videos, archival restoration, memorial montages and live event production — none of which involves synthetic content, and all of which a large organization would plausibly need in the weeks after losing its founder on stage.

The file's author flags the entire section as unconfirmed, opening it with a question rather than an assertion. This page keeps that framing rather than upgrading it.

What would settle it

  1. The Clock Tower X FARA filing itself, which states the date representation began — the single fact that decides the timing question.
  2. Whether the Israeli-government engagement predates September 10, 2025, per the contract's own effective date.
  3. Whether VFX LA confirms or denies any contact with TPUSA, and in what direction the approach ran.
  4. What service, if any, was actually contracted — production work and synthetic media are different questions.
  5. Independent confirmation or refutation of the Aspen Summit donors' recollection about the CEO succession statement.
