N560TW's Sept 10 Scottsdale-Provo Turnaround (Claims)

What is alleged

Candace Owens said on her live broadcast that she is "now very interested in" tail N560TW. In her words: "It departed on the morning of September 10th from Scottsdale, Arizona, and landed in Provo at 10:06 AM. It then immediately turned around and departed for Santa Barbara... then back to Scottsdale by 12:44 PM. Somebody saw something." The aircraft is a Cessna Citation XLS, and the shape of the itinerary — land, sit briefly, leave — is what investigators describe as a drop-off or pickup rather than a trip.

The connective tissue is ownership. The aircraft is reported owned by T.W. Lewis Aviation LLC, tied to the T.W. Lewis Foundation, which publicly lists Turning Point USA as a partner on its own website. Tom Lewis reportedly shared a stage with Charlie Kirk at an ASU event in 2023. That places the aircraft inside the donor-pressure thread running through this investigation — the reporting that Kirk was losing major donors over his refusal to stay "pro-Israel" and over his refusal to cancel Tucker Carlson, and his own reported message that he had "no choice but to leave the pro Israel cause." Investigators also connect it to a same-day Arizona-to-Provo pattern they allege for the separate tail N40JD.

Owens' actual framing matters here and is often lost in the retelling: she is requesting tips. She and the amplifying researcher are asking ground crew, pilots and witnesses in Arizona, Utah and California who was aboard. That is a question, not an accusation, and no answer has been produced.

The ordinary explanation

A Citation XLS flying Scottsdale → Provo → Santa Barbara → Scottsdale across a single morning is an utterly typical light-jet day-trip pattern. That is precisely what private business jets are chartered and owned to do, and short ground times reflect passenger drop-offs on a multi-stop itinerary rather than evasion. Read the same track without the context and it is indistinguishable from a thousand other Western-US business days.

The timing works against the claim rather than for it. The aircraft landed at 10:06 am — more than two hours before Charlie Kirk was shot — and had departed Utah before it happened. An aircraft that leaves before the event is a poor candidate for a role in it. It was also fully transponder-visible on public trackers throughout, which is the entire reason anyone can discuss it; that is not how covert movement is conducted.

Finally, the ownership link is close to the least surprising fact in the investigation file. A conservative foundation that openly and publicly partners with TPUSA has an aircraft that visits Provo — home to a TPUSA event that day. That is what partnership looks like from the air. If donor-linked aircraft never appeared near TPUSA events, that would be the anomaly.

What would settle it

  1. The passenger manifest for N560TW for September 10, 2025 — the single question Owens is actually asking.
  2. Provo Airport FBO records showing who was met, and by whom, at 10:06 am.
  3. Whether anyone boarded or deplaned at Provo at all, or whether the stop was a fuel or crew-duty stop.
  4. The purpose of the Santa Barbara leg, which the tracking data cannot supply.
  5. Whether the alleged N40JD Arizona-to-Provo pattern is real and, if so, whether the two are connected in any way.
