What is alleged
The file's entry is a single passage, and its texture is the point: "This whole Butch Hibbs thing is weirding me out now.. For 6mths people kept telling me there's 2 different Butch Hibbs at UVU and to be honest I thought you were all fuckin crazy but now I'm not so sure. Butch Hibbs isn't just some Old dude that liked Charlie Kirk and his brother just happened to be a friend that organised back stage access, oh no not at all, Jack Hibbs is a Prager U pastor - Israel first Zionist Christian pastor. An influencer on X aledges that much of the family are either Mormon Jews or just Zionist advocates."
The file's people notes add only: "Listed in other witnesses; appears in conspiracy/cleanup crew discussions with Jason Behunin and Phillip Goldsberry." That is the entirety of the evidentiary basis — an appearance in discussions, not in any record. Elsewhere the file records, separately, that Candace Owens has alleged Victor Marx bypassed security and accessed restricted zones.
One more gap should be stated. The file refers to a "Butch Hibbs pocket-object dimensional argument (~2 × 2 in)" as though it were established somewhere — but the file never actually sets that argument out anywhere. It is cited without existing. A reader tracking it down will not find it.
The ordinary explanation
The innocent reading is the one the file itself states and then immediately discards: an older man liked Charlie Kirk, and his brother — a nationally known pastor in the same political and religious network — arranged backstage access. That is not a cover story. That is how backstage access works at essentially every event in America. The file writes the true explanation and then says "oh no not at all" without producing a single fact against it.
The "two different Butch Hibbs" claim is the kind of thing that generates itself. Two people sharing a common nickname, or one person photographed at different times of day in different light and different postures, produces "that's two different guys" claims constantly at every heavily-photographed event. The file's own author dismissed this for six months as obviously wrong, and what changed was not evidence — the passage records no new fact at all. It records repetition.
And the substantive inference is the worst kind available: a man is suspicious because his brother is a pastor with a particular position on Israel. That is guilt by association twice removed — through a relative, to a political opinion, to an unstated conclusion. It is not an argument. Appearing in "conspiracy/cleanup crew discussions" means only that people discussed him.
Victor Marx's alleged security bypass is a separate allegation from a separate source and is not corroborated in the file by any document, footage, or record.
What would settle it
- Identify the unnamed X influencer and obtain the actual claim, with its date and its evidence. There is currently no source to check.
- Obtain TPUSA's backstage access list and credentialing records for the UVU event — a one-page document that answers this entirely.
- Establish whether "two different Butch Hibbs" refers to two people or two photographs, by obtaining both images at native resolution with timestamps.
- Locate the "~2 × 2 inch pocket-object dimensional argument" the file cites but never states, or retire the citation.
- Obtain UVU's and the security contractor's records on restricted-zone access to test the Victor Marx allegation.
