Tent Structure Under Charlie

Charlie Kirk was at the UVU courtyard tent/stage when he was killed on September 10, 2025. Everything under and immediately around that canopy — decking, grass, mic wiring, tent poles, backdrop vinyl, tunnel adjacency — is the core homicide surface later covered by pavers. This page describes physical layout claims from video, photos, and witness descriptions.

Canopy and stage (reported)​

According to compilations of event footage and witness accounts:

  • A fabric canopy with support poles and side panels / vinyl backdrops (TPUSA branding).
  • Partial shelter for the stage and some audience; open air and buildings visible beyond.
  • Placement adjacent to a tunnel or passageway and landscaped courtyard — later central to line-of-sight and paving disputes.

CK_FILE emphasizes: "Right at the tent. Right where Charlie was seated."

Professional audio distance​

The Canon XA55 broadcast camera recorded uncompressed four-channel audio at 48 kHz, positioned roughly 46 meters from the tent per CK analysis. That distance provided an acoustic buffer that citizen analysts say clarifies:

  • Stage/tent detonation signature at ~+321 ms.
  • Separate distant rifle signature ~120 m away.

Microphone placement under the shirt​

CK_FILE flags Phillip Goldsberry Jr. placing a wireless mic under Charlie Kirk's shirt when outdoor debates typically clip the mic on the outside with a windscreen. That detail matters for exploding-mic theories placing a device at the chest/neck interface. We do not allege Goldsberry knew of any device or acted with criminal intent.

Concealment features cited in proximity-shot threads​

Citizen reconstructions (ProjectConstitu thread) cite:

  • Concrete pillar and AC vent near tent edges.
  • Boxes stacked behind the tent.
  • Security positioning limiting sight lines from crowd angles.

These are hypothesis scaffolding for inside-tent or corner-shot claims — not confirmed security plans.

Post-event surface under the tent​

The grass and soil directly under the stage were reportedly excavated and paved within days (Site Alteration). Any bullet strike on decking, blood soak into soil, blast pit, or fragment scatter on that surface is what investigators say was lost or buried under paver base — independent of which contractor performed the work.

Relationship to UVU Tent page​

Citizen Investigator Claims on X​

The tent structure over/near Charlie is both a sightline problem and a reconstruction problem.

  • Investigators argue canopy geometry affects laser/acoustic lines and may have hidden motion under fabric edges.
  • Rapid strike of the tent after the event is cited as loss of a 3D crime-scene reference.
  • Pair with Maps/UVU courtyard pages and multi-cam projects; avoid inventing measurements not in sources.
