Censorship, Platform Activity & Information Control Timeline

:::caution Read this before the timeline Two very different things appear below and must not be conflated. The search-and-Trends items are contested open-source interpretation — Google Trends is volatile, its geographic attribution is coarse, and low-volume terms produce noisy graphs. The gag order, the archive subpoena and the cease-and-desist letters are documented actions. Nothing here asserts that any named person, platform, or government committed a crime. Living persons are presumed innocent. :::

This timeline tracks a single layer: who tried to control what the public could see, search, or say about this case — and when. It begins more than a year before the shooting with the search anomalies citizen researchers flag as foreknowledge, and runs through platform actions, witness-footage pressure, legal threats and the court's own gag order. For the search-pattern evidence in depth see Google Searches; for the section-level treatment see Censorship.

Every item in this section rests on Google Trends screenshots preserved by citizen researchers. Trends reports relative interest, not identities, and researchers preserve archives precisely because live graphs shift. See Trends Deletion & Suppression Claims.

  • September 10, 2025 — hours after the shot — Witness Ryne Simmons says he recorded close-up 4K 60fps video and sent it to the FBI; he says the Bureau then called multiple times, escalating above the local field office, to ensure the file was deleted from his device. He says he preserved a copy anyway. See Ryne Simmons — FBI Video Deletion and the claim page.

  • September 12–16, 2025 — High-engagement posts claim YouTube removed a Charlie Kirk clip questioning whether Israel issued a stand-down order on October 7. Platform moderation of the victim's own Israel-critical content becomes part of the early information-control narrative — not proof of culpability for any government or living person.

  • September 2025 (reported) — A second eyewitness account describes federal personnel urging deletion of phone footage, framed to the witness as being for his own wellbeing. See FBI Asked a Witness to Delete Their Video and Witness Footage Pressure. Some later threads name Skyler Baird as a witness who says feds urged deletion of phone video ("PTSD cure" framing in amplifiers' words) — attribute as witness claim; living person.

  • September 2025 onward — TPUSA reportedly withheld certain camera angles at the FBI's request while releasing other 4K clips in tribute material — the tension examined at Selective 4K Release Versus the FBI Gag Claim and TPUSA Production Footage.

  • October 13, 2025 — The widely-amplified post claiming multiple attendees found their footage deleted or altered before they got home is published. No device-forensics report, filing or chain-of-custody record supports a remote wipe — and no ordinary explanation has been excluded either. See Witness Videos Deleted Remotely.

  • October 14, 2025@ProjectConstitu publishes a large Google Trends compilation alleging Israeli and DC-geography interest in Twiggs' address, Robinson-linked search strings, UVU recon terms, TPUSA figures, and medical facilities, clustered around July 20, 2025. Trends remain relative-interest screenshots, not identified searchers — a dated public dump of the corpus already itemized above.

  • On or about October 24–25, 2025 — Citizen reporters claim Judge Tony Graf closed hearing access and ordered transport of inmate Jaxson Thomas Fox into the proceedings, which they interpret as a potential jailhouse-informant move under a broader secrecy regime later including the Dec 16 gag. Treat as process reporting by advocates, not a finding that Fox testified falsely or has any proven connection to the Kirk killing beyond Trends anomalies already listed.

  • Autumn 2025 — Users report suspensions, 12-hour locks, shadowbans and "limited visibility" warnings for liking, replying to or reposting Candace Owens content about the case. Whether this is coordinated reporting, automated enforcement, or ordinary policy at scale is unresolved. See X — Candace Owens Engagement Bans and X — Deboosting Investigators.

  • November 2025 — The FBI subpoenaed the domain registrar behind Archive.is / Archive.today, seeking identifying information about its operator — reported by Ars Technica, 404 Media, The Verge and others, with no crime specified in the public reporting. Investigators who rely on archived pages treat this as an existential threat to the evidentiary record; the ordinary explanation is an unrelated criminal probe. See FBI Subpoena of Archive.today.

  • November 12, 2025 — Archive.today / Archive.ph "under siege" posts intensify after the registrar-subpoena wave; some threads restate the witness-deletion narrative and name Skyler Baird alongside Ryne Simmons as accounts of federal deletion pressure.

  • Late 2025 (reported) — A TPUSA cease-and-desist letter was sent to an X poster over drone-footage claims. Per Candace Owens' account the letter conceded that a media production drone flew for B-roll before the event while maintaining that security drones were denied by the university — a distinction that is coherent, not a confession. The letter itself has never been published. See The Cease-and-Desist and the Drone Contradiction and TPUSA Legal Threats.

  • Late 2025 – mid-2026 (reported / published by recipients) — Cease-and-desist pressure expands beyond the drone poster. Project Constitution (@ProjectConstitu) says it received multiple TPUSA / Erika legal-team C&Ds and later displays letter images online (see June 2026 third letter). Treat published letter images as recipient claims of authenticity; this site takes no position on trademark merits — see Project Constitution and TPUSA legal threats.

  • December 16, 2025 — the gag order — Judge Tony Graf issued a gag order on his own motion, requested by neither prosecution nor defense. Gag orders are routine in high-profile cases; the court's stated purpose is protecting the jury pool. See Court Gag Orders and Gag Orders & Sealing.

  • December 2025 onward — Reporting describes witnesses and attorneys declining to speak and closed hearings, with press challenges to the order not materializing. See Legal Process, Gag Orders and Secrecy and Evidence Sealing 2026.

  • January 21, 2026 — Per Will Sommer reporting, TPUSA sent Candace Owens a cease-and-desist invoking a non-disparagement clause over her case coverage. A civil demand is not a ruling on her claims — see Candace Owens timeline.

  • June 7, 2026@AnaEscobarShow's claim that ~17 Google Trends spikes align with Miriam Adelson private-jet locations (Israel/Cyprus same days as Trends geographies for Timpanogos hospital, Utah hotels, etc.) is amplified by Project Constitution and others. Correlation claim only — living donor aircraft; Trends geography ≠ identified searchers; methodology is fragile and contested. No crime is asserted.

  • June 11–12, 2026@ProjectConstitu posts what it says is a third TPUSA / Erika legal-team C&D (attorney Louis T. Perry, Faegre Drinker, dated June 11, 2026) demanding it stop using Charlie Kirk's name, image, likeness, voice, video and audio and remove posts/banners using Charlie. The account claims Candace and other investigators also received letters and that it received three. Report C&D existence as claimed; no position on merits.

  • 2026 — Readers report that this site is hard to surface through Google search, with both suppression and ordinary algorithmic explanations presented side by side. See Google Search Censorship of This Website and Google Search & Trends Scrubbing.

  • 2026 — Parallel claims describe YouTube and X accounts belonging to this investigation appearing demonetized or algorithmically throttled — see YouTube throttling claims, X throttling claims, and Platform — YouTube & Meta.

  • July 2026 — The 1:17 on-camera video of the witness describing the FBI deletion requests surfaced on X with a full transcript, moving that account from secondhand summary to a recorded first-person statement. See Censorship of Citizen Investigators and Media vs Citizen Investigation Timeline.

  • July 19–20, 2026@TheKirkArchive launches kirkarchive.com as an independent digital archive preserving public records of the assassination, investigation, and trial — a citizen response to link-rot, takedown, and Archive.is pressure fears.

Open Questions

  1. Will Google produce, under legal process, the query and geographic records behind the disputed Trends spikes — the only thing that can confirm or destroy that entire evidence class?
  2. Did the FBI ever put in writing a request that any witness delete rather than preserve footage, and does a policy exist authorizing that?
  3. What footage did the FBI ask TPUSA to withhold, when, and in what document?
  4. What crime, if any, underlies the Archive.is registrar subpoena, and does it touch this case at all?
  5. Why was the December 16 gag order issued on the court's own motion when neither party requested it — and have any 2026 press challenges materialized?
  6. Will the cease-and-desist letters (Owens Jan 2026; Project Constitution letters including the claimed June 11 third letter; drone poster) be authenticated in full so their actual language replaces paraphrases?
  7. Has any device forensics ever been performed on a phone whose owner says footage vanished?
  8. What is the chain of custody and scope of @TheKirkArchive / kirkarchive.com materials relative to Archive.is?

Laws (Charlie Kirk)

The Google query and geographic records behind the disputed Trends spikes, any written federal request to a witness to delete rather than preserve footage, the FBI's withholding instructions to TPUSA and the corresponding camera logs, the full text of the cease-and-desist letters sent to citizen investigators, the sealed docket and the record supporting the December 16 gag order, and the device forensics on every phone whose footage is said to have vanished are things the Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws may result in powerful truths coming out that aren't out yet.

Ryne Simmons — FBI Video Deletion

A witness says he sent the FBI close-up 4K 60fps footage of the moment Charlie Kirk was killed, then was called repeatedly and asked to delete it. He says he kept a copy. Deletion over preservation is a transparency question, not yet a court finding.
