Jul 20, 2025 — Label conflict — Later citizen compilations characterize the destination as a U.S. Army base. Research for this page found no primary tracker post naming Offutt, Camp Ashland, a Nebraska National Guard field, or any specific Army installation for this landing. The Omaha area's best-known major base is Offutt Air Force Base, so the "Army base" label is either loose shorthand, a possible later ground move that is unproven, or simply wrong. Innocent readings worth keeping in view
Fairness requires stating the ordinary explanations as plainly as the suspicious ones. VIP government jets make training, maintenance and diplomatic stops at U.S. military and civil airfields constantly, and doing so implies nothing covert. The best same-day primary for July 20 is civil KOMA, not a named Army ramp. Nebraska appears in overlap spreadsheets partly because the Omaha corridor hosts substantial aviation and defense infrastructure — repeat visits by any government aircraft are unremarkable there, and 2026 Paris–Omaha–Lincoln–Wilmington legs prove corridor reuse. Commentators also note long-running Egyptian unit training in Utah/Nebraska. And the "first U.S. trip ever" framing comes from tracker tallies whose date-matching critics dispute; if the tally is wrong, the entire significance of July 20 evaporates.
