TPUSA Organizational & Internal Timeline 2025
This page tracks Turning Point USA as an organization through 2025 — its events, its internal fights, its staff on September 10, its succession sequence, and its entity filings. It is not the Erika Kirk personal timeline and not the funeral and memorial timeline; both are linked where they intersect.
:::caution Attribution notice TPUSA is a litigious organization and every person named below is living and accused of no crime. Financial and governance claims on this page are allegations raised in public commentary, not audited findings or court judgments. Ordinary explanations are given alongside every contested item. :::
Entity and funding groundwork (before 2025)
-
May 15, 2023 (entity record) — GGLF 2023 LLC is created, per the corporate-record notes compiled in the master investigation file.
-
2023 (reported) — A life insurance policy on Charlie Kirk is reportedly taken out and held by GGLF 2023 LLC, with TPUSA reportedly paying a $350,000 loan against it and an estimated payout figure circulating in the $20M–$50M range in citizen commentary. Researchers say the policy surfaces in TPUSA's fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, and flag the timing — reportedly shortly after Kirk began questioning aspects of the October 7 narrative. No underwriter has been publicly identified and no filing has been produced in the posts reviewed; the master file records this as an attributed claim. Insuring a founder is ordinary nonprofit practice and no wrongdoing is established.
-
Through 2024 — Insider-payment allegations later compiled by researcher @theleahfiles cover roughly ten years, including $9M+ to an entity characterized as a political direct-mail group (see Moore DM Group / Resource One), $999K to Clocktower LLC (dissolved 2022) for a "research project," and $2.7M+ routed through shell entities by an advancement director. See insider payments and 990s and the LLC index. These are contested financial allegations, not findings.
July 2025: the speaker fights
-
July 11, 2025 — Kirk platforms speakers critical of Israel, alarming pro-Israel donors and allies; the master file marks this as the day the donor conflict became open. See Israel donor pressure as motive and donors, Israel, and foreign policy.
-
July 13, 2025 — TPUSA Florida — The Dave Smith / Josh Hammer debate takes place at the Florida event, one of the flashpoints in the movement's internal argument over Israel policy. See the MAGA antisemitism debate page.
-
July 14, 2025 — TPUSA Florida — Tucker Carlson speaks, and Kirk reportedly encouraged him to "go all the way." Researchers treat Carlson's evolving Israel position and the platforming as the moment the donor conflict became irreversible; see pre-event political pressure and political pressure and meetings 2025.
-
July 18, 2025 — Citizen timelines place a decision point here; the reasoning and the counterarguments are on the July 18 decision page and the July 20 foreign leaders meeting. Nothing in the public record establishes any decision was made.
-
July 31, 2025 — An off-the-record White House meeting organized by the Faith & Freedom Coalition, the Latino Coalition for Israel, and the Philos Project convenes on "confronting the woke-right defamation of Israel." TPUSA representatives were absent from a strategy session on a subject central to their founder — see the July 31 meeting without TPUSA and TPUSA's absence July 31.
August–early September 2025: governance friction
-
August 15–17, 2025 — Aspen donor retreat — TPUSA's donor gathering, later central to the succession dispute: the claim that Kirk named Erika Kirk as his successor there is, according to Candace Owens, uncorroborated by attendees she says she contacted. TPUSA-side accounts say Kirk did express that wish. Both versions are recorded on the disputed CEO succession page.
-
September 2, 2025 (circulated memo claim) — Citizen investigators (@ProjectConstitu, Finance Wolves and others, widely amplified Nov 16 2025) describe an internal Charlie Kirk memo that (1) named Justin Streiff (spelling also appears as Strife/Streiff) as the new COO, (2) moved Tyler Bowyer off day-to-day COO duties toward Turning Point Action, and (3) ordered a DOGE-style organization-wide efficiency/financial review separate from the routine annual audit. The memo has circulated in activist media; a full authenticated original on TPUSA letterhead has not been produced in the posts reviewed. Ordinary governance change and "secret cancel to hide issues" readings both exist; neither is court-established. See the DOGE audit page, DOGE audit results, and the DOGE-audit / Bowyer timing page.
-
Early September 2025 (Bowyer reply claim) — When asked whether the audit would proceed, Bowyer is widely quoted in screenshot threads (e.g. @phantompain1984) as saying the organization already audits yearly and was audited in July, pointing to Form 990s and the outside auditor (Baker Tilly). Critics argue that answer addresses a different process than a DOGE-style forensic review. Reassigning a COO is an ordinary governance act; missing-money figures circulating in advocate media (e.g. ~$10M claims about Turning Point Action) are allegations without a public court finding.
-
Parallel thread — The question of who would replace Kirk's COO, and what the org chart looked like going into September, is tracked on Charlie's plan to replace the COO and TPUSA's replacement timeline. Some investigators also claim Bowyer introduced Erika Frantzve to Charlie years earlier — relationship map, not proof of misconduct. A separate allegation about a call attributed to the incoming COO is logged at the Streiff / "Pierre Du Pont" call page.
September 10, 2025
-
Morning — TPUSA staff work the UVU courtyard ("the quad"), tabling and running setup, and TPUSA production crews run broadcast cameras and at least one drone; see TPUSA production footage and the TPUSA production drone.
-
~9:24–10:00 AM MDT (claim) — A July 2026 video by @FaithDrivUr characterizes police as saying the suspect met TPUSA representatives on the quad hours before the shooting. No employee has been named and no primary document with that time has surfaced; the baseline explanation is an unremarkable exchange with staff who were tabling. See the TPUSA–Tyler Robinson chat page and the pre-shot campus timeline.
-
12:23 PM MDT — TPUSA staff positions at the moment of the shot — who was on stage, in the tent, at the mic stand, and in the SUV — are catalogued on TPUSA staff on September 10. Security that day was contracted through a private firm, not TPUSA employees; see Dan Flood and Integrity Security.
-
Immediately after — Multiple 2026 posts restate that a TPUSA-associated person removed an SD card from a camera behind Kirk (some name Terryl Farnsworth, who is separately placed filming from the rock pile seconds after the shot, and describe standing on a chair; earlier master-file notes describe an executive who had not attended a university event before or after). Ordinary explanation remains evidence preservation / theft prevention per police-instruction claims. Chain of custody is unpublished; later lore sometimes confuses USB vs SD handoff language. See executive SD cards and SD card removed.
-
Hours after — A TPUSA figure appears on Fox News the same day, a speed several commentators found notable; see the successor on Fox and the TPUSA replacement Fox interview.
The Cooper Brown video and the witness question
-
Within days of September 10 — A widely shared clip shows a man putting hands on a young Turning Point person to stop him giving witness testimony on camera, while covering his own ears. @DiligentDenizen identified the man as "Cooper Brown" and stated he is not a student or TPUSA staff member. See Cooper Brown as witness and the Cooper Brown profile.
-
The contradiction inside that identification — Earlier posts in the same ecosystem described "Cooper Brown" as the junior TPUSA volunteer standing about fifteen feet from Kirk who was going to say on camera that he heard the mic explode — meaning the same name is attached to both the person silenced and the person doing the silencing. 2026 posts further claim the man labeled Cooper Brown who blocked a young witness was also presented on Fox (Jesse Waters) as a primary / "sole" eyewitness the same day, while the silenced student was not interviewed. See the Cooper Brown witness page and the mic investigation index. These viral identifications have shifted over time and are treated as contested, not established.
-
The Fort Huachuca photo question — A circulated photo is claimed to show "Cooper Brown" alongside Jeb Jacobi at Fort Huachuca. Whether the two are the same person, and the original date and source of the photo, are unresolved open questions — see Fort Huachuca September 9 and the Fort Huachuca military timeline.
Succession: September 12–18, 2025
-
September 12, 2025 — approximately 9:09 PM ET (~55 hours after the shooting) — Erika Kirk delivers the speech in which she refers to "evil do-ERs" (plural). The plural is the entire observation; it is an observation about wording, not evidence of anything. See the Erika Kirk timeline and the parallel discovery item in Law 1: DOJ and FBI disclosure.
-
September 12–18, 2025 — the eight-day gap — Between the speech and the CEO announcement sits an eight-day interval during which board deliberations, donor conversations, and governance decisions occurred that have never been made public. See the disputed succession page and memorial and TPUSA succession.
-
September 18, 2025 — Erika Kirk is announced as TPUSA CEO. Spokesman Andrew Kolvet stated publicly that Charlie had told him Erika could lead the organization; Owens has questioned whether the Aspen statement is corroborated. Both accounts appear on the TPUSA replacement timeline.
-
September 18, 2025 — same day — Bowyer posts, "We run everything like a military op, all of our people are from that background." Commentators ask whether the post was later deleted. It is logged for the intelligence-and-security theme on the Bowyer profile; no wrongdoing is established or alleged.
Fall 2025 into 2026: filings, audits, and legal posture
-
October 14, 2025 — TPUSA posts a birthday tribute video containing drone footage from the September 10 event, which citizen investigators contrast against the "drones were banned" explanation. See the cease-and-desist drone contradiction and UVU security and no drones.
-
Late 2025 — Commentary flags missing 990s for Turning Point Endowment, Turning Point Action, and America's Turning Point. Late or delayed nonprofit filings are common; the claim is that the delay coincides with the audit dispute. See insider payments and 990s.
-
December 2025 – February 2026 — Advocate outlets claimed TPUSA/Bowyer reversed or "lied" about the fate of the DOGE review (e.g. @SwordTruth framing); others note nonprofits continued ordinary annual audits and that "secretly canceled to hide issues" lacks official confirmation. Keep both readings.
-
January 2026 — Commentary (@ProjectConstitu / Owens ecosystem) alleged internal staff purges on the order of 30–40 people during a leak crackdown, plus cease-and-desist activity against independent creators — part of the TPUSA legal threats thread.
-
Late 2025 into 2026 — Board-adjacent allegations circulate, including that Erika Kirk's mother Lori Frantzve sat on the board and appears on the board of Superfeed Technologies alongside Bowyer. Every person named is living and accused of no crime; see the secret stock fund claim and the Frantzve profile.
-
July 20, 2026 — Researcher @leahfiles published Part 3 of a TPUSA financial series focusing on Stacy Sheridan, described as both Senior Advancement Director and owner of successive outside fundraising entities (GSM Strategy → Lionrock → Cloverstone) that took custody of tens of millions in donations (poster figures include >$88M through custody and ~$5M+ private fees). The post frames Schedule L / private-inurement questions from public filings and states no public government charge — analysis of filings, not a verdict. See insider payments and 990s.
-
2026 — TPUSA's legal threats against investigators and commentators become their own thread; see TPUSA legal threats and censorship of investigators. July 2026 also saw a public Owens–Kolvet spat escalation (engagement attacks / "Karen" framing / affiliate disclaimers) that documents communications posture under the new CEO without establishing any crime.
-
2026 — sponsor and staff threads — The Yrefy sponsorship connection to Laine Schoneberger is on the Schoneberger / Yrefy page; the removal of security director Dan Flood from the TPUSA site is on Flood scrubbed from site; a whistleblower "stand-down" allegation is on the stand-down whistleblower claim.
Conflicts and Disputed Points
| Point | One account | The competing account |
|---|---|---|
| Succession authority | Kirk named Erika at the Aspen retreat, per Kolvet and TPUSA-side accounts | Owens says multiple attendees she contacted do not corroborate it, and audio exists without matching video (page) |

| Campus arrival contact | A brief exchange with staff tabling on the quad, unremarkable | A meeting with the alleged assassin hours before the shooting (page) |
| Bowyer reassignment / Sept 2 memo | Ordinary governance change; routine July audit already done (Bowyer quote) | Circulated memo names Justin Streiff COO, moves Bowyer to Action, orders DOGE-style review eight days before the assassination (page) |
| Fate of the DOGE review | Nonprofits continued ordinary audits; "secret cancel" unconfirmed | Advocate claims TPUSA/Bowyer "lied" about cancelling Charlie's dying-wish review |
| Drones at the event | Campus police prohibited drones | TPUSA's own tribute video appears to contain event drone footage (page) |
| SD card removal | Routine preservation of production media after a fatal incident | An executive or Farnsworth (2026 naming split) taking the card from a camera behind Kirk (page) |
| Entity payments | Normal vendor and consulting spend for a large nonprofit | Insider-controlled flows through shells; @leahfiles Part 3 names Stacy Sheridan / Cloverstone chain (page) |

Laws (Charlie Kirk)
- TPUSA board minutes, votes, and donor communications between September 10 and September 18, 2025, the outside-audit engagement documents and Bowyer reassignment record, the identity of the staff on the UVU quad that morning and any footage of the alleged contact, the chain of custody for the production SD card, and the delayed 990 filings for the affiliated nonprofits are things that the Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws may result in powerful truths coming out that aren't out yet.
