Pre-Shooting Warnings: Two Men Contacted UVU the Night Before

UVU GRAMA records showing redacted communications from 9/9/2025 about two men asking to speak with police about a plan

According to UVU GRAMA records obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation (50 documents, 112 pages), two separate individuals or groups attempted to flag concerns about the Charlie Kirk event the day before the assassination on September 10, 2025. Both were either dismissed or buried in the record.

Two Unidentified Men at 10:35 PM on September 9

According to document UVU 25-330:0023, at 10:35 PM on September 9, 2025, a UVU staff member reported that someone from Event Services came to their office stating that two people had showed up at UVU offices asking to talk to police about "a plan." The staff member wrote that the two individuals were reportedly directed to police.

The message was considered serious enough that it was sent to the university cabinet — the university president's office. According to the GRAMA chain, that escalation reached UVU leadership including President Astrid Tuminez's cabinet. Tuminez later announced her resignation (documented institutional transition; this page does not assert wrongdoing by her or any cabinet member).

Forty-four minutes later, at 11:19 PM, according to the same GRAMA records, someone responded in the communication chain stating that the two gentlemen "are NOT from a senator's office. They are GOP reps who played like they knew more than they did!"

According to @danksterintel, who reportedly reviewed all 112 pages:

  • Nobody in the chat asked what "the plan" was
  • Nobody documented what the two men told police
  • The names of the two men are REDACTED in the released records

14 hours later, Charlie Kirk was shot from a rooftop and killed.

Separate Warning Email at 2:23 PM on September 9

According to document UVU 25-330:0079/0080, a separate email was sent at 2:23 PM on September 9 through UVU Police Chief Jeff Long's communication chain. The subject line read simply: "FYI."

The email reportedly stated: "He wants us to get a message to Charlie Kirk. His phone number is [REDACTED]."

According to the released records:

  • The name of the person wanting to reach Kirk is REDACTED
  • The phone number is REDACTED
  • Whether the message was ever delivered is not documented anywhere in the 112 pages

According to @danksterintel's review, the released GRAMA set does not show that UVU forwarded the warning to Dan Flood (TPUSA Head of Security) or Brian Harpole (Kirk's contracted protective detail). That absence is documented in the records as a gap, not proof that anyone blocked delivery.

Orem Police Department Involvement

According to the GRAMA records and @danksterintel's review:

  • On September 3, Orem Police Department emailed UVU the Charlie Kirk ticket link (subject: "Charlie Kirk Tickets")
  • UVU pays Orem PD annually for a joint Public Order Unit built for large public events — the same coordination track researchers tie to that September 3 email
  • The joint unit was never activated for the September 10 event
  • Post-shooting, Orem PD reportedly stated it was "not involved" — a statement commentators contrast with the pre-event correspondence and standing paid arrangement

Commentary on motive and suppression (attributed only)

Some commentators — including threads tied to @danksterintel — frame the September 9 record as more than bureaucratic sloppiness:

  • An undelivered warning to Charlie Kirk the afternoon before the shooting, with no documented handoff to TPUSA security (Dan Flood) or private detail lead (Brian Harpole)
  • Institutional dismissal of the 10:35 PM "plan" contact — characterized in-chain as "GOP reps who played like they knew more than they did" without documenting what the men said or what "the plan" referred to
  • No escalation beyond internal UVU email, despite cabinet notification

These are attributed interpretations, not findings of intent, conspiracy, or wrongdoing. They are catalogued here because researchers connect them to broader motive threads — including Charlie — Israel Donors Motive — without asserting that UVU officials knew a shooting would occur or deliberately suppressed actionable intelligence.

Night-before "executed tomorrow" texts (reported, separate from GRAMA)

Commentary compiled in the master file — including @RealCandaceO segments — alleges Charlie Kirk texted head of security Dan Flood the night before the event that "they" would kill him tomorrow, after a donor phone call. Candace reporting also describes Charlie telling donors and TPUSA members he feared being executed the next day.

The released 112-page GRAMA set does not document whether UVU or campus police received that escalation. Researchers juxtapose the undelivered 2:23 PM Sept 9 Kirk message (above) with these night-before security texts as parallel warning lanes that did not alter the Sept 10 event posture. We document the reports; we do not assert Flood, UVU, or any donor knew a shooting would occur.

Emergency Alert Failures

According to the GRAMA records:

  • The first emergency alert, sent 19 minutes after the shooting, reportedly falsely stated "suspect in custody." The suspect was not in custody. An estimated 10,000 students remained on campus believing it was safe.
  • The Run-Hide-Fight alert, sent 88 minutes after the shooting, reportedly still contained placeholder text: "Shooter in [INSERT location]." The location was never filled in.

Security Gaps (As Reported)

According to @danksterintel's review of the 112 pages:

  • Faculty had reportedly never been trained on active shooter protocols
  • No ambulance was on site
  • No outside law enforcement was coordinated
  • 6 campus police officers for a crowd the chief later called 3,000 people

Ongoing Redactions

According to @danksterintel, every name in the September 9 communications remains redacted under Utah state law exemptions for "security of public property" and "privacy." The suspect has been in custody for 7 months, the event is over, and there is no ongoing security threat to the campus.

UVU has reportedly acknowledged that additional documents exist and has refused to release them.

Key Unanswered Questions

  • Who were the two men who came to UVU at 10:35 PM on September 9?
  • What was "the plan" they wanted to discuss with police?
  • Who wanted to get a message to Charlie Kirk at 2:23 PM that same day?
  • Was that message ever delivered to Kirk?
  • Why are names still redacted when the suspect is in custody and the event is over?
  • What additional documents has UVU refused to release?

Verbatim Text of the 10:35 PM Record

According to the image text reproduced in the CK research file, document UVU 25-330:0023 (tagged with Utah exemption code 63G-2-305(11)) reads, in full:

"9/9/2025 10:35 PM — Everyone from Event Services who reports to me just came to my office letting me know that two senators are coming tomorrow. He said that two people showed up at their offices asking to talk to police about a plan. Said they got them to police. If this is indeed true we do need to notify. Does anyone have any additional information?"

The follow-up at 11:19 PM (UVU 25-330:0024) reads:

"The two gentlemen who showed up at office are NOT from a senator's office. They are GOP reps who played like they knew more than they did!"

According to @danksterintel, the "two senators are coming tomorrow" framing in the same message is why the report was escalated to the university cabinet — but the record never separates the senator-visit logistics from the "two men and a plan" report, and no one in the chain reconciled the two.

Utah GRAMA Exemption Codes Cited

According to the released records, September 9 communications carry redactions under the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA). Tags visible on released pages include:

CodeCategory (as cited on documents)
63G-2-305(11)Security of public property
63G-2-305 (privacy-related subsections)Personal privacy — names and phone numbers in the Kirk-message chain

According to @danksterintel, every name in the September 9 warning threads remains redacted under these codes even though the accused shooter has reportedly been in custody for seven months and the event is over. UVU has reportedly acknowledged that additional documents exist beyond the initial 50 documents / 112 pages released to the Daily Caller News Foundation and has refused to release them.

Source and Reach

According to the CK research file, the underlying disclosure was posted by @danksterintel (handle "Danks") on April 15, 2026, and cites the Daily Caller News Foundation GRAMA records request comprising 50 documents / 112 pages. As logged, the post reported roughly 940 likes, 320 reposts, and 12,688 views at the time of capture.

Laws (Charlie Kirk)

  • The redacted names of the two warning men and who wanted to message Charlie Kirk and the additional UVU documents withheld are things that the Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws may result in powerful truths coming out that aren't out yet.

Continued X Attention to the Sept 9 Record

The @danksterintel / Daily Caller GRAMA package remains the most-cited primary trail:

  • 10:35 p.m. two men asking police about "a plan"; later chat reframes them as GOP reps who "played like they knew more than they did."
  • Separate afternoon chain: someone wants a message to Charlie Kirk — delivery undocumented; names/numbers redacted.
  • Orem joint unit not activated; post-shot alert failures compound the "warnings ignored" thesis.

Citizen investigators still ask: who were the men, what was the plan, and was Kirk ever warned? Those questions are legitimate records demands — not proof of any named living person’s guilt.
