Commentator's Close-Range Phone-Device Theory (Short Cut)
What This Video Is
A 6 minute 53 second screen-share commentary. A male presenter appears in a small webcam window at frame-left while the main area shows what he is sharing: cropped crowd photographs, a Spanish-language Univision news screenshot, a social-media screenshot about the rifle, and looped playback of two amateur angles from the UVU event. It is a home-office vlog, not footage of the event — the only primary material in it is other people's clips replayed inside his screen share.
This appears to be the shorter cut of the same presentation held in this cluster at full length as Side Shot 2, which runs 13:08 and includes a long preamble the short cut drops.
What Is Said
Everything below is what the presenter asserts on camera. It is reported here because the clip is in the corpus and people are circulating it; none of it is adopted by this site, and none of it is established.
He opens by pointing at a still frame: "The person that shot Charlie, right here, with the white T-shirt, and what seems to be a cell phone, and perhaps keys on his hands." He alleges that a spectator standing near the barricade, and a woman beside him, were jointly responsible, and he repeats that framing several times across the clip.
His stated reasoning is a wound-and-energy argument, at roughly 1:26: "If it was a high powered rifle, dude, that dude would have had a massive hole in his neck. Massive. Anyone that hunts or anyone that shot anything from a long distance with a big rifle knows what I'm saying." From that he concludes the shot must have come from close range and from the side, and that this also explains why Kirk moved sideways rather than backward.
At about 0:56 he brings up a Univision segment, roughly nine years old, about an American company that built a firearm disguised as a smartphone — captioned "PISTOLA DISFRAZADA" — and asserts that is the weapon in use, with a suppressor. He speculates further, without evidence, that the device has a screen used for aiming, because in his reading the shooter fires accurately without sighting down anything.
He is openly hostile to the official account: "that's what the FBI is telling everyone. And when the FBI tells you something, guess what? That's not the truth." He also distances himself from a competing online theory, saying that the two people others have circled inside the security area were signalling rather than shooting.
He closes by asking viewers to download and re-upload the clip and says he did not monetise it.

The gap between the argument and the frames is the whole story of this clip. What the shared footage actually shows is a man holding a phone up in a crowd where dozens of people are holding phones up, and a slow-motion replay in which the presenter's cursor supplies the interpretation. No discharge, no flash, no recoil and no projectile is visible at the resolution being replayed. The images have been cropped, upscaled and re-compressed before he ever loaded them.
This page deliberately does not name, describe further, or identify the spectator or the woman he points at. They are members of the public with no established connection to any offence, and the presenter offers no basis beyond a still frame.
