Ryne Simmons Answers a Viewer: Why He Believes He Is Suppressed

What This Video Is​

A 1 minute 5 second vertical TikTok, single unbroken take, held in the investigation's capture archive. The stored filename attributes the repost to David Nino Rodriguez, whose framing text reads that Simmons "says he witnessed Charlie Kirk's assassination. He sent his video to the FBI to help investigators but was instead instructed to delete his video." The clip itself is Simmons answering a viewer comment shown in the top-left corner: "Reply to RST's comment: Why are you being suppressed?" A caption at the bottom reads "Can't keep up with all the questions! I'm trying!"

It is a reply video, not a new disclosure. Its value is that it is Simmons in his own words, with the question he is answering visible on screen.

What Is Said​

Simmons repeats the account almost verbatim from his earlier clip, which is itself a point in its favour: the story does not grow between tellings. His motive first: "I thought I was doing a service and, you know, to Charlie and helping out." Then the escalation: "I got in contact, was talking to someone at the local field office, there in my local state, and then it jumped up a few levels. Then I was talking to someone on, like, the national level."

The instruction as he reports it: "because this was your friend, I think it's best that you erased the video from your phone, 'cause it's just gonna give you PTSD." Then the follow-up calls, which are the part he keeps returning to: the contact "called another time to ask if I had erased it," and later "I got a call back and was asked to confirm it was gone."

He gives the same reason for going public. Being asked to confirm the deletion is what made him feel "it was even right to post these videos." He mentions again that a previous account of his was removed, and describes his own countermeasure: "that's when I started sharing, posting, and saving on many different hard drives in many different places." He ends the same way: "It's been crazy. It's been rough."

Nothing here alleges a crime or names an individual. The claim is that a request to delete was made, and repeated, and that he did not comply.

What The Footage Shows​

One continuous static close-up for the full 1:05, eye-level, shot on a phone's front camera in a residential room with a teal wall and a framed print at the edge of frame. Simmons wears a blue hoodie and a Seager trucker cap. Auto-generated captions run across his chest in sync with his speech. The viewer comment he is answering sits in the top-left throughout.

There is no event footage in this clip at all. Every frame is testimony. The stored machine description guesses at Las Vegas, Nevada for the location and marks the guess uncertain; there is nothing on screen that establishes where it was filmed, and that guess should not be carried forward as fact.
