A Reward Video, a 720p File, and an Unreleased Camera

The video described below accuses an unidentified member of the public of causing Charlie Kirk's death, and offers money for footage that would identify him. That accusation belongs to the person who made the video. It is unproven, it has not been tested by any investigation, and this site does not adopt it. No identifying description of the accused man is reproduced on this page, and readers should not attempt to identify him. The clip is catalogued because it circulated widely and because the underlying footage-access questions it raises are real, not because its conclusion is supported.

What This Video Is
Four minutes and fifty-five seconds of screen-recorded video commentary, dated by the narrator to Friday, October 31, 2025. It is a one-man presentation: the narrator appears in a webcam window in the lower right, wearing headphones in what looks like a home office, while the main frame shows him scrubbing through bystander footage of the Utah Valley University event in a media player, zooming, cropping, slowing and running two angles side by side.
Filed in this investigation's capture mirror under a bare media identifier with no poster credit, no source URL and no upload date. The narrator is not named in the file.
What Is Said
The narrator opens by stating his thesis in the first fifteen seconds, and never softens it:
It is Friday, October 31st, 2025, and I have a bombshell video to share with you all. I can show you the person that killed Charlie Kirk, and he works for Turning Point USA on the American Comeback Tour.
He then claims that his footage captures "the moment that this person initiates the trigger sequence using the remote that is in his right hand," and that the same moment is visible a second time in the reflection of a phone screen held by Frank Turek, whom he characterises in dismissive terms.
Both of those are the narrator's assertions. Neither is established. The phone- reflection reading in particular is directly contested elsewhere in this archive: a former Marine Scout Sniper working the same angle frame by frame concluded that a reflection interpretation does not survive the geometry and told his viewers to discard it — see Zeb Boykin's breakdown. Mr. Turek is a living person; nothing on this page suggests he did anything improper, and the narrator's characterisation of him is not endorsed here.
The middle of the video is a repeated loop of the same few seconds of event audio — the tail of the last exchange, "counting or not counting gang violence" — as the narrator replays his clips at several speeds.
The last two minutes are an appeal, and this is the part with substance to it:
Okay, y'all, we have got to identify this person. If you know who he is, please leave a comment. If you have [footage], I will pay for it.
To Utah Valley University and its administration, you all have this entire chain of events on video, captured by the security camera that is underneath the flag building, on the ceiling of the tunnel. I'm asking you publicly, right now, to release this footage.
The file that was uploaded to the internet archive and this site here, it's only released in 720. We really, really, really need the 1080P or the 4K file.
He closes by framing the matter as a national security question, noting that Turning Point USA staff have been around senior officeholders and that the tour continued after September 10, and asking whether the organisation "has a rogue employee, or are they all in on this." That is rhetoric, and it is an insinuation against an organisation and its employees for which he offers no support beyond his reading of a few frames. It is reported here as his framing, not as a finding. A closing card offers a five thousand dollar reward for higher-quality footage of the man at a stated timestamp.
Strip the accusation away and two things in this video are worth keeping. The first is the specific claim about a fixed camera: that a UVU security camera mounted on the tunnel ceiling beneath the Hall of Flags building covered the sequence, and that its footage has not been released. That is a checkable assertion about a known camera position. The second is the resolution problem — that the widely circulated archive copy of the key bystander angle is 720p, and that no higher-resolution original has surfaced publicly. Frame-level claims of any kind, including this narrator's, cannot be settled at that resolution. Both points belong to the footage-access questions catalogued elsewhere on this site, and they stand independently of whether his conclusion is right.
What The Footage Shows
None of the original footage in this video is the narrator's. Everything in the main frame is other people's material replayed inside a media player, with his own annotations burned over it: "Watch his right hand," "Zoom / cropped," "Slowed," "Behind Frank Turek," "Both angles in sync," "Super slow."
The underlying clips are the familiar public bystander angles — a wide shot of the crowd in front of the "American Comeback" canopy, a reverse angle from behind the stage, and a synchronised split screen of the two. There is also a static exterior shot of a UVU building with the "A PLACE FOR YOU" glass signage, which he uses to point out the ceiling-mounted camera in the tunnel, and a shot of his own file browser showing internet-archive downloads.
The crucial limitation is visible in his own screen: he is working from a 720p copy, zoomed in hard and slowed down. At that magnification a compressed 720p frame is a handful of pixels per feature. A hand near a chest, a dark shape on a phone screen, a glint — none of these survive as evidence at that scale. He says as much himself when he asks for a better file. Until that better file exists, the images he presents do not support the conclusion he draws from them.
