The companion write-up records the post as having reached roughly 708,000 views, 10,000 likes and 2,400 reposts, which makes it one of the most widely seen items in this corpus.
It is a compilation rather than a capture: handheld footage of young people in red tour shirts is cut against Fox News broadcast layouts and an aerial of the campus plaza. Nothing in it was shot by the poster.
What Is Said
The audio is broadcast narration, and the transcript preserves it cleanly:
"...down his shirt and he slumped over and he was carried off. Cooper Brown was an event volunteer who was just feet away from Charlie when he got shot. Cooper Brown was just 15 feet away from Charlie when that horrific scene unfolded."
The same words run as on-screen chyron text in fragments — "DOWN HIS SHIRT", "AND HE SLUMPED", "WAS CARRIED OFF", "COOPER BROWN WAS", "AN EVENT VOLUNTEER", "FEET AWAY FROM", "CHARLIE WHEN HE" — alongside "CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSINATED AT UTAH COLLEGE" and a FOX NEWS ALERT banner.
So the only speech in the clip is a news presenter introducing an interview guest. Two things are asserted there and both come from the broadcast, not from this site: that the guest was an event volunteer, and that he was about fifteen feet from Kirk at the moment of the shot.
The claim the poster attaches — that the handheld footage shows a man stopping a young Turning Point person from giving his witness account on camera while covering his own ears — is made in the post text. It is reported here with attribution. The purpose behind the action, and whether anyone instructed it, are not established by the footage and are not asserted on this page. Everyone visible is a living private individual and none is accused of anything here.

- 0:12 - 0:15 — a high-angle aerial pan over the crowded campus plaza under a clear sky, with a Fox News watermark.
- 0:15 - 0:18 — a split-screen with a female anchor at left and the guest at right under a FOX NEWS ALERT banner; the guest is a young man in a dark suit and tie with a somber expression.
What is observable in the first six seconds, as-shown, is one person interrupting another and steering him away while a camera is running. That an on-camera account was cut short is the documented event. Why is an open question, and the plainest alternative explanations — an organisation's media policy, a volunteer being told not to speak for the group, someone protecting a distressed friend from a camera — are at least as consistent with the footage as anything more troubling. The clip is eighteen seconds long, cut from at least four sources, and contains no audio from the interaction itself.
The aerial and the broadcast panels contribute nothing evidentiary; they are there to establish that the person in the handheld footage and the person in the studio are the same man, and the compilation asserts that identification rather than demonstrating it.
