Full transcript of the clip

From the on-camera witness interviews, transcribed here verbatim (0:36, speakers not individually identified in the clip; light punctuation added, transcription artifacts left in place):

"We were like 2nd row. We were just looking up and we see, you know, he was debating about shooting, and he was talking about it, and then we see a shot, and then there's a wave of blood come out of [his chest]. You just see, like, hit his chest and then just blood squirt out of him during, right on that topic. Yeah. when he got shot in the heart."

"Okay, yeah, I was there and I watched the shooting. It looked like that he got hit. A [direct] shot right to the heart. As soon as he was hit, he fell backwards, went to the side. The audience went to their knees. I stayed up a little bit because I wanted to see…"

Two separate speakers, both placing the wound at the chest and heart — not the neck. One describes being in the second row, close enough to see the impact land and blood come out of the middle of the chest.

Why this recurs

This is not an isolated account. Multiple witnesses, across multiple interviews, have described a chest or heart wound and blood coming from the center of the chest. The pattern is documented elsewhere on this site in Chest-Shot Witnesses, in Shot to the Heart, and in the case of one witness whose account appears to change from chest to neck within about an hour — Shot in Chest, Then Neck. The Medical section's witness-conflict page tracks the same divergence from the clinical side.

The significance is that the state's account is a neck wound from a .30-06 rifle round. A dense cluster of close-range witnesses describing a chest impact and blood from the sternum area is a direct conflict with that account — one that has never been publicly reconciled by any official source.

The citizen-investigator reading

Independent investigators working this case have overwhelmingly concluded that Charlie Kirk was killed by an explosive, not by a rifle round. Within that framework, some of those investigators read the chest-and-heart witness cluster a specific way: the chest wound is what the operation was built to produce, because a device at the microphone and chest area would put the visible injury exactly where these witnesses put it. On that reading, the early chest-and-heart descriptions are the honest accounts — what people actually saw from the second row — and the later consolidation around a neck wound is the narrative that had to be constructed once a rifle became the official weapon.

This is an interpretation offered by citizen investigators, not an established finding, and it is recorded here as such. What is not interpretation is the raw material: witnesses at close range, on camera, saying they saw the impact hit the chest and blood come from the middle of the chest. That testimony exists and has not been explained away.

What would settle it

  • The full autopsy report and its wound-track diagram, released unredacted rather than summarized.
  • The unedited raw interview tapes from every station that spoke to witnesses in the first hour, before any framing was applied.
  • A named, complete witness list with each person's original account preserved as-given — see Witness Reliability for why first-hour statements matter most.
  • High-resolution stage footage at the moment of impact, which would show where the blood originated.

Laws (Charlie Kirk)

Witness statements taken in the first hour, raw interview footage, and the complete autopsy record are exactly the material that no citizen can currently compel. The Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws are written to force this category of record into public view.
