Probable Cause Affidavit — Tyler Robinson

This is the Probable Cause Affidavit filed by law enforcement in connection with Tyler Robinson's arrest. This is the police-side booking document that established the legal basis for Robinson's detention.

The affidavit contains the official law enforcement account of the timeline of events, including references to the "early morning hours of September 12, 2025." Investigators have noted that this language refers to a distinct, later encounter by Utah County investigators — not the initial Miranda encounter documented in Bates 003996-R2, which occurred at approximately 6:25 PM MDT on September 11, 2025.

The affidavit is also the document in which the government first commits to its theory of how Charlie Kirk was killed on September 10, 2025 — a theory that the independent cause-of-death analysis argues cannot survive contact with the physical evidence.

Tyler Robinson is charged, not convicted. All references to his alleged conduct are allegations drawn from official court documents. Nothing in this document constitutes a finding of guilt.

Key Points

  • The affidavit is the law enforcement counterpart to the defense's Miranda timeline argument.
  • Its reference to "September 12, 2025 early morning hours" describes Utah County investigators arriving after a multi-hour drive from Provo — not the initial Miranda reading at 6:25 PM.
  • The document was filed as part of the formal arrest record and establishes the legal basis for Robinson's continued detention without bail.
  • Readers should consult the original filing and defense responses for the full legal context.

Laws (Charlie Kirk)

  • FBI 302 reports of Robinson's interrogation and the true Miranda timestamp booking records and chain of custody of the Mauser rifle are things that the Charlie Kirk Investigation Laws may result in powerful truths coming out that aren't out yet.

How investigators read the affidavit's custody language

Citizen investigators flag that the probable-cause affidavit's "September 12 early morning" investigator-encounter language is often misread as the first Miranda event. Cross-check against the Bates 003996-R2 September 11 bodycam discussion on sibling pages. The affidavit remains a charging document, not a trial verdict; clothing/camera descriptions in it also feed Tyler on Cameras identification debates.

A second screenshot, kept because it explains in plain language what a Bates number is and why 003996-R2 became the most argued exhibit in the case. Preserved with OCR so the text survives the image.

Sworn hearing testimony and an on-camera interview are not the same thing, and treating them as one is the most common error in commentary about this case.
