Foreign Search IP Patterns (Claims)
A major foreign-intel reconnaissance thread alleges Israeli IP addresses (and some Washington, DC IPs) produced unusual Google search spikes for Charlie Kirk case figures weeks or months before the September 10, 2025 shooting — with an anchor date of July 20, 2025 in viral compilations (Charlie_Kirk.txt "ISRAELI IP MYSTERY" section).
Recurring search targets (claimed)
| Target category | Examples named in threads |
|---|---|
| UVU layout | "UVU Rooftop," "Gun," "Parking," "CCTV," "Losee Center" — May–July 2025 |
| Medical / autopsy | Timpanogos Regional Hospital; seven surgeons in a July frenzy; ME Deirdre Amaro |
| Judiciary | Judge Tony Graf (July 26 spike); predecessor Robert Lunnen (May 15) — before Graf presided |
| Defense | Kathryn Nester — Dec 8–14, 2024 Israeli IP spike |
| Legislation | Autopsy bill drafter Greg Gunn — Aug 2024 & May 2025 |
| Political figures | Phil Lyman, Rick Cutler, Derek Maxfield — July 2025 |

Foreign-intel interpretation (claims only)
Commentators argue the pattern looks like advance mapping of:
- Crime-scene geometry
- Hospital where Kirk would be transported
- Judges who would handle the case
- Autopsy path if one occurred
Benign readings also exist: international news interest, diaspora researchers, VPN artifacts mislabeled as "Israeli IP," or coordinated citizen OSINT feeding back into Trends.
Evidence limits
- Google Trends does not prove who searched or why
- No court exhibit has authenticated IP logs in this repository
- Spikes correlate with public events (e.g., AMFEST / Tucker Carlson first joint appearance week cited near July 20)
We do not claim anyone who appeared in search data participated in violence.
Online pre-knowledge signals of this kind are among the reasons former NCTC director Joe Kent says "more than likely there's something else at play" — and he has stated on the record that his center's foreign-nexus review was halted before such leads were exhausted.
Laws (Charlie Kirk)
Raw search telemetry, VPN attribution studies, and IC assessments of foreign reconnaissance are among Fix Law 2 targets.
Reconnaissance OSINT claims (limits)
Israeli/foreign Google search spike claims about UVU, judges, and surgeons before September 10 remain methodology-sensitive. Without published query logs, time zones, and VPN filtering, treat spikes as weak OSINT. Useful as a research lead for FOIA to search platforms/agencies; insufficient alone to prove pre-attack recon by a state service.
Commentator coverage: Citizen journalist Ian Carroll has defended the significance of the foreign-IP Google Trends patterns in his public posts, arguing they warrant formal follow-up, while explicitly cautioning that noticing the pattern "doesn't mean Israel did it" — a question he frames as reasonable to ask, not a conclusion.
