News accounts described a secured hotel with US delegation figures (including JD Vance; Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff named in negotiation orbit) and Iranian leadership (Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, foreign ministry officials). Israeli strategic interest in any US–Iran deal is the motive layer commentators attach — not proof any phone owner was an assassin.
