Timeline — The Islamabad Talks and the Phone Claim

This timeline places the phone claim against the diplomatic calendar. The timing matters: the four devices were reported at the Serena on the evening of April 10, before the U.S. principals arrived and after the hotel had been emptied. Sources are linked on each line. Phone-claim entries are marked [CLAIM].

September 2025 – March 2026​

  • Sep 10, 2025. Charlie Kirk is killed at Utah Valley University, 12:23 PM MDT.
  • Nov 2025. [CLAIM] Candace Owens says 12 Israeli-registered phones were at UVU and that high-level officials know it.
  • Late 2025 – early 2026. [CLAIM] Tony Seruga posts that raw GPS data showed 44 foreign phones near Kirk, 16 of them Israeli. See The Phone Claim.

April 2026 — Round one at the Serena​

  • Apr 8. Pakistan brokers a two-week U.S.–Iran ceasefire. Public holidays are declared for Apr 9–10 in Islamabad (Wikipedia).
  • Apr 8–10. The Serena is emptied of guests, placed under government control, and its staff vetted. The Red Zone is sealed and advance teams arrive (Al Jazeera).
  • Fri, Apr 10, evening. [CLAIM] According to Seruga's post the next day, four of the 16 Israeli devices from UVU "arrived in Islamabad last evening, at the Islamabad Serena Hotel."
  • Fri, Apr 10, late night. The Iranian delegation (about 70 people) lands. Its flight reportedly turns off its call sign over Pakistan. It is lodged at the Marriott (Al Jazeera).
  • Sat, Apr 11. [CLAIM] Seruga's Serena post, amplified by Project Constitution within hours (What X Posted).
  • Sat, Apr 11, afternoon. Vance's delegation lands at Nur Khan Air Base, stops at the U.S. Embassy, and checks into the Serena (Fox News).
  • Apr 11–12. About 21 hours of talks: an indirect first round, then direct sessions between Vance and Ghalibaf in a small room off the lobby. U.S. and Iranian wings are kept separate (The National).
  • Sun, Apr 12. No deal. Vance: "We just could not get to a situation where the Iranians were willing to accept our terms." Reports say eight of ten ceasefire points were agreed, with the Strait of Hormuz and the nuclear program unresolved (Dawn).
  • Apr 13. Trump announces a naval blockade of Iran.
  • Apr 14. The Daily Jagran reports that no phones were allowed inside the Serena during the talks.

Late April — The second round that never happened​

  • Sun, Apr 19. The Serena again tells guests to leave "due to a government event." The Red Zone is re-sealed (Al Arabiya).
  • Apr 20–21. Iran sends no delegation (Al Jazeera).
  • Apr 22. Dawn: the Red Zone is still sealed, and roads were closed "to facilitate the arrival of foreign delegations and advance teams" (Dawn).
  • Apr 24–25. Witkoff and Kushner are expected, then told by Trump not to travel. Araghchi visits and leaves for Oman.
  • Apr 25. [CLAIM] @SocialmediaSvge posts that Pakistan "found out Israelis were going to assassinate Iranian negotiators and stopped it." No source is given, and no reporting supports it.
  • Apr 26. Traffic restrictions around the Serena and the Red Zone are lifted. The hotel reopens on Monday, Apr 27.

May – September 2026​

  • May 1. Talat Hussain says the delegations were filmed from One Constitution Avenue next to the Serena (MM News).
  • Jun 9. [CLAIM] @Coll1313: the Israeli phones from UVU "are now literally registering as being in Pakistan."
  • Jun 17. Trump and Iranian President Pezeshkian sign the 14-point Islamabad Memorandum remotely, with Pakistan's Sharif as mediator (Wikipedia).
  • Jun 21. Talks begin at the Bürgenstock Resort, Switzerland, with Pakistan and Qatar mediating. The resort cancels about 1,200 bookings, and up to 2,000 soldiers and police secure the site (swissinfo).
  • Aug 22. [CLAIM] @JGlasseir tags Joe Kent, Candace Owens and others on the claim and notes that only Pakistani authorities could have identified who was in the hotel.
  • Sep 19. [CLAIM] @The_RealZoe repeats that four devices "reappeared at the Islamabad Serena Hotel."

The Swiss round, for comparison​

Bürgenstock sits on a mountain above Lake Lucerne and is owned by Qatar's Katara Hospitality. It was closed to the public for the June round, the same "sealed venue" model as the Serena. No one has claimed that any UVU device appeared there. If the tracking source really had the four devices under watch, whether they went to Switzerland in June is a fair question to ask it.
